    Rebuff Corp (“Rebuff Reality” or “we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website http://rebuffreality.com, or play games such as Dance Dash, including any other media form, media channel, or mobile website related or connected thereto (collectively, the “Content”).

     

    Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Content.  The Dance Dash game operates on the Steam platform and, as such, is also subject to any privacy policy implemented by Steam. Whenever you are using the Steam platform, please also be aware of that privacy policy.

     

    You are encouraged to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by your continued use of the Site after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

    Game Analytics Data

    If you connect to the Internet when using the Content, we may receive information from hardware manufacturers or platform hosts (such as Steam, HTC, Valve, Oculus, Humble, Licensor or a Licensor affiliate) and may automatically collect certain information from your computer or gaming unit. This information may include, but is not limited to, user IDs (such as gamer tags and screen names), game scores, game achievements, game performance, locations visited, hardware MAC address, internet protocol address, and your usage of various game features. All information collected by us is intended to be anonymous information that does not disclose your identity or constitute personal information, however, if you include personal information (such as your real name) in your user ID used with our platform hosts, then such personal information may automatically be transmitted to Licensor and used as described herein. The information that is collected and/or provided to us by hardware manufacturers or platform hosts is useful to us for troubleshooting, improving the Game and your user experience and helps us understand usage trends. This information may be associated with your IP address or user ID for the purpose of providing you services or support in connection with the Game.

     

    Derivative Data

    Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Content, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Content.

     

    Financial Data

    Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or otherwise request information about the Content. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processors including but not limited to: Shopify Payments, Amazon Payments, Google Payments, PayPal, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

     

    Data From Social Networks

    User information from social networking sites, such as Facebook, Google, Steam, Discord, Mod.IO, or similar, including your name, your social network username, location, gender, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts, if you connect your account to such social networks.

     

    SECTION 2 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

     

    Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Site to:

If we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your information may be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the transferee may decline honor commitments we made in this Privacy Policy.

     

    We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom you share personal or sensitive data, and we have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails or other communications from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

     

    SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

    Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

     

    Your financial data and related information is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

     

    All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

     

    PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

    SECTION 5 – SECURITY AND DELETION

    To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. However, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.

     

    If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

     

    You have the right to request that we erase your data, which can be done by sending an email to info@rebuffreality.com. Your data may be deleted if you delete your account or no longer have an account with us.  If your data is not deleted following deletion of your account, then your data will be de-identified or otherwise obscured so as to not be associated with a particular user, browser, or device.  Your data will be deleted if it is no longer necessary to provide an app experience or service to users.  Your data will be deleted if requested by Steam or when deletion is required by applicable law or regulations.

     

    Section 6 - COOKIES

    Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.
